2014-2015 Exoskeleton
Lunar Gala is an annual fashion show at Carnegie Mellon University organized by students and sponsored by companies around the United States.
This is a collaborative project with a partner to create four outfits. My partner and I strove to emulate the exoskeletons of prehistoric creatures, mollusks, and insects when choosing our colors and materials. We used boning, knit fabrics, and foam core. The name of our line is “Exoskeleton.”
